WORLD RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP: CITROËN GIVES THE GREEN LIGHT TO LIVE SHOWS ON FACEBOOK!

For the Swedish rally, which takes places from 9 to 12 February 2017, Citroën is launching the first edition of #C3WRClive so as to make the passion and buzz of motor sport live on for longer. You can follow the live shows, presented by former racing driver Bruce Jouanny, on the Citroën Racing Facebook page. The first live show will be on Thursday 9 February at 6:45 PM with the crews, the evening after the first special stage.

600x430To involve its many fans in the live action of important events, Citroën has been using Facebook Live since 2016. It used this communication channel to reveal the new C3 and even gave fans a guided tour of the Citroën Conservatoire heritage centre during National Heritage Day which it broadcast live on its Facebook page. It was met with such huge success that the Brand decided to renew these lives shows for the WRC.

#C3WRCLive : A SHOW TO GET CLOSER TO THE COMPETITION

The WRC is a chance for Citroën to bring its fans closer to the live action. The first edition of #C3WRClive will start on Thursday 9 February for the Swedish rally and can be followed live on the Citroën Racing and Citroën Facebook pages from 6:45 PM. The next day, around midday the show’s teams will be waiting to bring fans closer to the race. A second, longer show will be broadcast at the end of the day. The shows are always in French and then in English. Many guests, including crews, managers and some surprise guests, will join the shows over the four days of the competition.

Citroën is the first car manufacturer to offer this type of live Facebook show during a rally. Presented by former racing driver Bruce Jouanny, these live shows will go behind the scenes of Citroën Racing to show the preparation of the cars and crews, the ‘decoding’ of the competition throughout the special stages, and much more. These shows will come straight from the centre of the action, from the sidelines of the special stages, the service park, hospitality, etc.

To coincide with Citroën’s return to the WRC as a works team, we are offering you the chance to receive the latest information live from the rallies via the application WhatsApp: standings, news, photos and videos.
