With its fluid, dynamic styling and extensive use of glass, the Grand C4 Picasso possesses a strong personality and unique character The harmonious vehicle volumes, enhanced by the cleanly drawn body lines, convey an impression of power. The flowing design contributes to an aerodynamic performance that is outstanding for this segment (Cd of 0.31 and Cd.A of 0.82).

The wide-angle panoramic windscreen, set well to the front, highlights the innovative character of the Grand C4 Picasso “visiospace” and catches the observer's eye, as do the large quarter-lights. At the same time, the strongly shaped headlamps, underlined by the indicators, give the car character.

The determined look of the front end is accentuated by a wide chevron badge with angled chrome strips extending up to the headlamps. This design signature, reflecting that of the C4, C5 and C6, identifies the car as a member of the Citroën family.

Viewed from the side, the large windows are underpinned by the dynamic waist line and the marked break in rear quarter-light design. At the rear, the absence of body-coloured C-pillars creates the impression of an extended window line. The roof flows seamlessly from the windscreen to the rear deflector in a single line.

The rear lights are another distinctive feature on the Grand C4 Picasso. They constitute a unique visual signature through their shape, and the sizing of their lines of light.

Vehicle comfort depends on a complex mix of attributes. The Grand C4 Picasso caters for the well-being of all the occupants by giving great attention to each one. Particular thought was given to suspension comfort and to the interior ambience, in terms of noise, temperature, odour and touch.

Class-beating suspension comfort

Suspension quality - a constant priority for Citroën - is outstanding on all versions of the Grand C4 Picasso. Depending on the level of trim, this metal suspension can be associated with a pneumatic suspension at the rear. It enhances passenger comfort, by making the suspension smoother and damping the force applied to the vehicle over irregular road surfaces.

Excellent thermal comfort

A new air conditioning system has been developed for the Grand C4 Picasso, taking into account the specific characteristics of this vehicle (large interior volume and extensive glass area).

The Grand C4 Picasso can be equipped with automatic four-zone air conditioning with individual air-flow controls placed mid-height onthe left and right pillars in row two.

Top-level acoustic comfort

Right from the start of vehicle design, particular emphasis was placed on providing outstanding acoustic and vibration control on board the Grand C4 Picasso. The structure is designed to minimise panel resonance, this being the main source of cabin boom.

Air quality and pleasant scents

Particular emphasis was also placed on odour-exclusion comfort, in order to maintain air quality in the cabin and create a pleasant fragrance.
