CITROËN EXHIBITS ITS KNOW-HOW AT THE HANNOVER COMMERCIAL VEHICLES SHOW

A week ahead of the Paris Motor Show, the 66th Hannover IAA Commercial Vehicles Show – a major event for professionals – is opening its doors from 22 to 29 September 2016. A long-standing player in the sector, Citroën is exhibiting all its know-how with original solutions devised on the base of the Jumpy, Berlingo and Jumper vans, each one perfectly adapted to the needs of various trades. The star of the show is undoubtedly the New Citroën Jumpy, unveiled in March 2016 and rolled out in a broad range of versions and configurations. Another new product making its debut on the stand is the Citroën Pössl Campster, a versatile and compact camping car offering optimal travelling comfort.

Citroën is one of the leading imported brands in the light commercial vehicle market in Germany. With over 10,000 light commercial vehicle registrations in 2015, Citroën is enjoying strong momentum in the country, driven by a sales offensive in the field of electric mobility, as illustrated by the Berlingo Electric and C-ZERO models, both of which offer two attractive mobility solutions.

Among the numerous vehicles exhibited on the Citroën stand, the Brand is highlighting the New Jumpy and making it the star of this 66th edition’s Hannover show. Targeting a wide spectrum of customers, the New Citroën Jumpy is available in van, combi, double-cab and platform-cab versions. With its characterful styling, optimum comfort and eminently useable technologies, the New Jumpy comes in three lengths and enables each professional to choose the vehicle corresponding to their needs and business. Among its other strong points, it features a modular EMP2-based platform offering up to 1,400 kg in payload and is powered by Euro6 diesel engines from the BlueHDi family with “Best inClass” fuel consumption and CO2 emissions on the segment.

The New Jumpy is joined on the stand by Citroën Pössl Campster, developed on the base of the New Citroën SpaceTourer. Created in collaboration with Pössl Freizeit und Sport GmbH, the new model offers peerless travelling comfort. It boasts a spacious and functional interior with clearly delimited spaces, the basic model featuring four seats and a kitchen. The versatile camping car is home to a large sleeping area designed to accommodate two people. Two additional sleeping beds are located on the panoramic roof level. Another strong point of this model is the roof, which opens at the front and on the sides for plentiful fresh air. Measuring 4.95 m long, 1.95 wide and under 2 m high, the Citroën Pössl Campster is ideal for day-to-day use and has no problems accessing car parks.
